He brings 25 years of experience supporting and advising senior leadership teams across public and private sector organisations, helping them navigate complex risk, compliance and operational challenges through an empirical, intelligence led approach.

Prior to joining Consello, Matthew was Senior Intelligence Manager at Morpheus Risk, leading FTSE 100 and global industry engagements that secured financial recoveries, identified seven figure savings opportunities, strengthened H&S/financial/compliance controls, and led the delivery of a secure intelligence platform adopted as a sector first capability by a global precious metals industry association.

Earlier in his career, Matthew served as Head of HSE Risk, Compliance and Audit for a specialist scientific consultancy, providing governance and assurance in the highly regulated water and environmental space and contributing to work supporting the World Health Organisation, the European Union and the UK Environment Agency.

Matthew began his career in UK policing, serving 15 years in intelligence and leadership roles, culminating as intelligence lead for Westminster and member of the senior leadership team in arguably the UK’s most complex policing environment, supporting executive decision making, strategic risk management and multi agency operational responses at scale.
