Background
Previously, Greg was a Managing Director and the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of Spring Mountain Capital, an investment management firm specializing in growth equity and special situations investing. In this role, he led the firm’s legal and compliance efforts while supporting its investment activities. Prior to joining Spring Mountain, Greg served as a Director in the Legal Department at Ramius (later Cowen Investment Management), an alternative investment management firm, where he was responsible for structuring and negotiating investment transactions and overseeing a variety of corporate legal matters.
Greg began his career as an associate in the Corporate Department at Cravath, Swaine & Moore, where he advised clients on a wide range of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions and securities offerings.
Greg received a J.D., cum laude, from Harvard Law School and a B.S., summa cum laude, from the University of Richmond. He is a member of the New York Bar.
