Background

Prior to joining Consello, Jo was Global Practice Management Director at Heidrick & Struggles for the CEO & Board and Social Impact Practices where she collaborated with global, regional and country leaders across Search, Consulting and On-Demand Talent. She played a pivotal role in developing the firm’s point of view on CEO and Board succession, leveraging her extensive knowledge.

She is deeply committed to the pursuit of excellence and meeting the rigorous demands of the CEO & Board Practice, with a particular focus on global corporate governance. As an early advocate for board diversity, her efforts have been recognized by the FTSE Women Leaders for promoting female leadership. Her responsibilities have spanned business development, intellectual capital enhancement, event planning and maintaining strategic relationships with key external partners including Fortune Most Powerful Women, NACD, Stanford Directors’ College, WB Directors UK, the Boardroom, INSEAD, Chapter Zero and the Natural History Museum’s Centre for Biodiversity. She has also throughout her career mentored and developed new talent.

Jo has completed the Certified Chair Executive Program from the Advisory Board Centre and the FT Non-Executive Director Program Certification. She has a Diploma in Corporate Governance from the Corporate Governance Institute.
